In 1937, Col. A. E. Stewart made nine coloured (untitled) plates showing the individual flaws in nine of the principal stones of the Half and One Anna stamps of 1854-55. These were printed in England and were circulated free to the PSI members. Extra copies could be had for Rs. 5-8 or 8s3d. The Half Anna and One Anna plates have four illustrations per sheet except for the One Anna Die I B Stone and Die III E Stone plates which have six (Ref. The Philatelic Journal of India Vol XLI Nos. 5-6 May-Jun and Nos. 7-8 Jul-Aug 1937).
